Snowed in

What do you do when you're snowed in and can't go anywhere? Be crafty of course!

I didn't spend my whole day making things, I spent more time enjoying the snow and taking a nap. But I did get a couple projects done, both Christmas gifts. I have been neglecting my shop a bit due to work and the craziness the holidays bring, but I hope to start back up again after the holidays are over. Right now I need to focus on Christmas and finishing gifts for people.

I don't usually make a lot of gifts, except for friends sometimes. I've never made anything for my family, though I thought that this year I would change things up a bit. Of course, the idea came to me a bit late in the month in so I'm cutting it kind of close. If I don't finish, it's not a big deal. I'm not only making them something and have an extra "backup" gift for everyone. Either way, my Christmas shopping is all taken care of. Though I do hope I can finish the gifts in time because I always enjoy the look on someone's face when I give them something I've made. It's so much more satisfying than buying a gift. I put a lot of time and thought into what I make, so giving the gift brings me a lot of joy. Sounds corny, but it's true.

Made for a friend. Can you guess how many stars there are?

I love getting snowed in, and while I would love to be living in a place with warmer weather, I do love snow days. There's just something magical about them.
