Slow season

As of late, I haven't been adding many new addition to my shop. This is for a couple of reasons: one, I was burnt out and two, I have many listings expiring in the coming month and plan on relisting more rather than adding new items. I was cranking out new products everyday, redoing photos, and coming up with new ideas; I also just needed a break. I go through spurts where I am super active on etsy, advertising, getting involved in the forums and in the treasury, and making every attempt to get the snapadream name out there. And then there are spurts where I don't do much. I know this is not wise from a business standpoint, but I get bored if I am on etsy 24/7. I need to change up my routine every now and then. So I am still alive and kicking on etsy, just not so vigorously as before.

A new spring dress

To go along with my spring wardrobe shopping spree, I bought this dress from Modcloth. It sold out really quickly after I got mine! It's super bright and flowery but I think it's perfect for spring. I'm also slightly addicted to Modcloth which is updated daily with new things. The dress itself could fit better; I wear a size small and this fits slightly bigger than a typical size small. Though I'd have to say it's kind of unique and I don't think I'll run into someone else wearing it. I think my new tea rose bow clutch will go perfect with it. Oh, I can't wait for warm weather!

The post office

I love going there. Crazy right? I mean, who actually enjoys going to the post office? Long lines, disgruntled employees, and disgruntled customers; it's not usually what I would call a good time. But if you are lucky enough to have a post office like I do then the experience is actually enjoyable.

It's in a smaller part of town so it's never crowded; there are never any lines. The last time I had to wait in line was at Christmas and there was only 6 people in it. I waited in line a max of 10 minutes. It was beautiful. The employees are nice and it's super close to home. If I choose to go to the larger post office in town, I risk the chance of waiting in line for nearly an hour. I've even walked into it before, seen the massive line, and chosen to drive to my better post office. I actually save time that way. Tomorrow I get to go there to send an order out and I am not dreading it one bit.
